This recipe didn’t require much prep work beyond gathering the ingredients, and cooking was straightforward, but it did leave me with many dirty dishes.
Food Review
I’ve had a difficult time in the past getting fried meat to turn out crunchy, so I’m especially happy with how these Texas Chicken-Fried Steaks turned out. The coating is crispy, giving the steaks the crunch I’ve been trying to achieve with fried meat.
The gravy is another highlight. It’s delicious, creamy, and a perfect companion to the crispy steaks. Together, the crunchy coating and savory gravy make for a satisfying, comforting meal.
