Jacob used an immersion blender instead of a normal blender like I think the recipe intended.
Food Review
Jacob and I enjoyed this dish. It turned out foamy, which the internet tells me is the wrong texture and a sign that too much air was incorporated during mixing. The immersion blender may be the issue.
