Cooking Details

For the sweet and hot peppers, I used a jar of bell pepper strips and a sliced jalapeño pepper.

I found rib eye steak that was already sliced, so I didn’t follow the first paragraph of instructions about freezing and slicing the meat (which meant I forgot to salt it, which was fine). I just had to cut the slices a bit, not frozen.

I don’t have a cast-iron skillet, so I used a ceramic non-stick skillet.

There was a lot of extra meat, so I made more sandwiches later.

Food Review

Overall, this turned out pretty good. By buying pre-cut meat, the sandwiches were reasonably quick and easy to put together.
