Cooking Details

I used small round pickles instead of slicing a full dill pickle. I used a yellow onion instead of Vidalia. I did not use the human tears.

I used dry dill leaves instead of fresh leaves. I mistakenly sprinkled the leaves on both sides of the loaf.

I cooked the chicken and hard boiled the egg the night before making everything else, which was helpful. I didn’t have a sous vide bag, so instead Jacob cooked two slices of steak his own way.

Food Review

The sandwich was monstrous. It was most easily served by sticking a wood skewer in it and then cutting slices. The sandwich was full of a bunch of things I liked, so it was good. I didn’t love the lobster aioli, but I didn’t really notice it among all the other things in the sandwich. It was mostly covered by the strong dill flavor, which was dominant because of my mistake of sprinkling it everywhere.

Overall, the sandwich was more a novelty than a realistic meal, but I still liked it.
